Recently added to the presentations section of the website, under the Resources menu, is a presentation written by Prof Paul Hogg in 2004 entitled “The Role of Materials in Creating a Sustainable Economy“.

It outlines the challenges the world faced in 2004 in terms of sustainable development and presents thoughts on what role materials development could take in tackling these challenges through; minising pollution, conservation of resources and maximising clean energy supply and use.
