Three years after the launch of the UK Composites Strategy, we look back to see what lessons we can learn from the process.

Recently added to the presentations section of this website, under the Resources menu, is a presentation written by Dr Faye Smith in 2010 entitled “Lessons Learnt from the Development and Implementation of a Composites Strategy in the UK.”

This presentation describes all the work that was performed leading up to the launch of the UK Composites Strategy in Nov 2009 as well as the Strategy itself and the work that has been performed to start the implementation of the Strategy. With the aim of facilitating technical strategy development for others, it them makes comments on the process and determines what lessons have been learnt.
